If you run a business or are a serious student of business in real life (as opposed to school), you have mostly likely come across at least one individual who appears to have a magical gift for accumulating assets/businesses.

They tend to start off down this road at a young age. They don’t get one newspaper route but multiple ones. If they then can’t deliver all the papers they hire friends as subcontractors.
They usually have their first serious business by their early 20s and then use its cashflow to start acquiring additional cashflows in rapid succession. By their 30s they are usually sitting atop their very own mini-empires of diverse businesses.
From there they choose to either graduate up to middle market companies or stick with accumulating smaller ones.
Despite a few Internet billionaires, most billionaires have built their fortunes by acquiring cashflow producing assets in this manner.
It’s a different strategy. Instead of placing all your eggs into one basket, you focus on acquiring as many baskets as possible.
It’s more of a game for “people persons” than those who prefer to spend their days coding in isolation.
