Sunday Business Notebook: AutoMatch USA is open
Sat, Apr 12, 2014 @ 4:31 pm
AutoMatch USA has opened its second pre-owned automobile dealership at 9012 Beach Blvd. in the former Camping World facility next to the Walmart.
The dealership is owned by Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of Camping World and Good Sam and star of CNBC’s “The Profit.” The first location opened in January in Chicago and was featured on the CNBC reality series.
AutoMatchUSA specializes in pre-owned cars as well as parts, accessories, service and collision repair. Its grand opening will be celebrated over three weeks beginning Sunday. That includes the ribbon cutting on April 25.
Lemonis began his career in the automotive industry and was vice president of several Miami-area automobile dealerships before opening more than 100 recreational vehicle dealerships across the country and turning them into Camping World RV SuperCenters. His companies employ close to 6,000 employees in over 100 cities across the U.S.
Good to hear it! Marcus is definitely a breath of fresh air in an atmosphere of a stagnant or lagging economy. He is hiring people, and keeping good employees working. I like to see that and see his system applied to various kinds of businesses.
