The second season ended with another strong episode about Marcus’s turnaround of the Key West Key Lime Pie Company in Key West, Florida. Last weekend the new site built by Marcus sold 22K pies. Here’s the website.

The turnaround is reminiscent of Amazing Grape. Similar problems; similar solution.

I’ll write about it some more by week’s end.

  • CNBC hosts seem so out of touch when it comes to a real business! It’s like they have no idea what’s going on.

  • CNBC hosts never ran a business and never studied business or they would be more conversant with Marcus and understand what he says and follow up with some intelligent questions rather than blather.

This is another success story and likely a great one. I am sure the founders are thankful that Marcus came in and gave them a chance to actually earn a salary or income from the company. Marcus has a system which works well for him and the businesses he is allowed to help.
